Spreading Kindness Through Rocks
From Grief to Kindness, Hayden Rocks Kindness remembers the legacy of Hayden Carleton and his selfless act of donation to save seven lives
Hayden Carleton is the young man memorialized in every rock on this table. He was a kind, exuberant, lively and giving person in life and an organ donor to seven people in death. After Hayden tragically and suddenly passed away, years down the road, his mom Anne, found a rock that said “Turn me over.” Images rushed in of painting rocks together with Hayden.
She suddenly discovered a pathway to channel her grief into
productivity.
This rock inspired her to start a kindness movement that honors his legacy and bringing awareness to his vision. His gifts have become our gifts for sharing. His vision multiplied, his vision in color. Hayden’s ceramic heart signifying his cornea donations to two people, and his Tissue and Organ Donor Medallion packed with the rock clearly said to Anne, “Share my story. Honor who I was, Mom.”
Hayden Rocks Kindness is an inspiration to for all to contribute in any way that they can. If you are interested in becoming an organ donor today, click below.
